Hi…anyone heard about the violin class conducted at Radin Mas? Any feedback from parents or students here whether it’s good? Cause I’m considering to sign up my child.

Hi,
My son is currently in P2. Can parents share if there is really streaming at P2 to P3? If yes, what is the basis? I heard there are 2 best classes in P3…is it true?
Appreciate some enlightment on this. Thank you. -

Yes, there's streaming every year from P3 onwards. May I know of what consequence does knowing the basis behind the streaming and how many best classes there are? Just curious. Please don't :pokeeye: me, ok?Hi,

Thanks qms. I understand more attention would be given to students in better class. Is it right?

That's not true, in terms of teaching resources. Perhaps you may like to take a look at the form teachers taking charge of the P6 students this year to get a rough idea.
Having said that, only students in the top classes take HMT. Some students in these classes are also given opportunities to attend enrichment programs.
However, just because a child is not in the top classes this year doesn't mean that he will not be in the top classes for the remaining years in the school. -

What I meant was that by looking at the form teachers of the P6 classes, you can sort of tell that not only the best classes get the best teachers. Of course, one needs to drill further to support or bust this 'myth'.Hi QMS,

I think you are more experienced than I am. Do you think that the best classes get the best teachers?
Btw, Dino mummy, which school is your DS1 in? If it is inconvenient for you to disclose it here, please PM me. Thanks. -
Hi
Any of your child in P3I this yr? Thanks. -
qms:
I dun noe how to explain wat is gd teachers, different people different opinion...i would said the experienced teachers are taking the better classes during DS1 time (p2-p6, thete were best classes during his time rt fr p2). Last yr, he had Head of subj as teacher, a snr tr as FT, an experienced science teacher.

This yr, I noticed a teacher who used to be the best class FT was returned to take 6m. Last yr, she was not 6m or 6A2 FT. Not sure why or wht there is any particular reason.
My DS1 is with Sch of Science & Technology, SST.
