89 views but no answer yet. Appreciate if some one suggest some tuition centre.

I know of a really good tutor from tuition centre @ Holland area. She's one of the best kept secrets, many high ability kids under her in my DS's school but parents kiasu or selfish, don't want to recommend. Slowly one by one quit own tuition and switch to her. After I sent my son to her, I see why the kids love her, very inspiring. Can pm u if you don't mind the travel.

Hi Orangebelt / now Greenbelt(?) I like to know more about the science tutor at Holland, would be grateful if you can email me at [email protected]. (not sure if you're still on this chat coz yr post was some years ago) . Thank you

I think I like the way my tutor approaches to my kids. She would do mind map and hands on to get my kids interested to learn. She would also highlight the impt concepts and common exam Qs. 70-80% accuracy even for O levels and A levels. I think it takes a genius to do tt. My kids are doing well during her guidance and I am well pleased

Thank you v m Milkbun for sharing, if you can PM me your children’s science tutor. Is tutor on her own or attached to a centre? Am staying near west, however i should be able to be flexible on arrangements.

Julialai, can I have the teacher's contact too? TIA
Hi AtoZ,
I've just PM you. I normally do not recommend a tutor to my friends unless I have tried and tested her work over at least a year or two, and have seen excellent results. This one is a cut above the others whom I have tried over the years. So far, my friends have come back to me with excellent feedback on her. 😄

I also have a tutor that I would like to recommend if you guys are interested. Both DS did very well under her. My elder DS got A* for his PSLE and younger son scored band 1 for last SA2.

But she is in the east side, tampines simei area. If don mind the distance, PM me. 😃 She was featured in the newspaper and magazines. Owner of the centre and teach by herself, my nieces and nephews also go over to her centre. The best thing is they have hands on experiment which both my DS love...
Hi Adonica, I have PM you to request for contact. Thinking of calling your tutor and the other one in Holland to decide a tutor for my DD. TIA
anyone who has gotten the contact of the science tutor in Holland from Julia earlier on - can you please share it with me please? Kindly PM me. Thanks.

Noticed that many has seek this Holland tutor, can anyone kindly share any feedback? Expensive? 1-1 or class tutoring?

Please PM me the contact # as well. Thanks!

So sorry, fellow parents, for not responding promptly! My DS is now in Sec 2 and I seldom check in this forum nowadays. I happened to log in today and have just replied to your PMs.

My husband and I credit our DS's PSLE results to this amazing tutor at Holland. (Sorry, I don't want to post her contact details in a public forum, as I have not asked for her permission.)

My DS was very fortunate to be under her tutelage since P5. My DS's P4 form teacher recommended to us when his results dipped in P5 SA1. He was not coping well with the transition from P4 to P5 then. He told us that the tutor and her team are experienced MOE teachers who are also PSLE markers for many years, they have written very good materials and are excellent at explaining the concepts. Besides, this particular lady tutor is very good at motivating and inspiring students. Everything he told us about her has turned out to be true. She has taught my son very well. He looked forward to his weekly lessons, and even initiated to join her English classes. What I also appreciate is the meticulous marking for compositions and Science open-ended questions. All the worksheets are neatly and carefully marked with feedback/ encouragement on the worksheets. It is very hard to find qualified teachers who not only teach well but have a heart for our children. This road to searching for the right tutor for my DS has been fraught with some very bad experiences with irresponsible/dishonest tutors. I've also paid for expensive tuition from a 'branded' tuition centre only to find out that the class tutor is a fresh graduate. Hope this helps! Julia
Possible to PM me the contact of the tutor? Many thank
