Nope. Have received nothing too.
My boy is going for his outing to botanica garden today with the school, hope the rain stops by then ... -
Hi, I heard from DS that an accident happened in school during recess time yesterday. Two of his classmates were playing and knocked into each other. One of them was quite seriously injured and an ambulance came to bring the injured boy to hospital.
Hope he's ok and get well soon.

Oh dear. My boy cushioned a girl too when she fell at the parade square during recess time too. That was in January. Both sides of the parents were called up by school. She had a sprained leg whilst my boy had a big bump + broken skin on his forehead. The bill was then claimed under the insurance by schoolHi, I heard from DS that an accident happened in school during recess time yesterday. Ya, DS says it happens at the parade square too.
DS says the other boy got punishment. Through this incident, think the kids will really take extra care while playing.
DS is pretty upset and worried about his friend. Could be feeling guilty also as he's also one of them playing in the group.
Hope the school will counsel the kids who were involved in the play and witness the incident rather than imposing punishment. I'm sure the boy who knocked the other boy down and causes him such injuries must be feeling bad too. -

Yes I agree. My boy has a gang of friends who play catching during recess time. Probably ours know each other. Kekekekeke. This is the pix I took after the fall:Ya, DS says it happens at the parade square too.

So have to conclude parade square is an accident prone area? -
sysherlene:
um, i guess for a 'bunch' of active kids, its pretty difficult to control. if they don't run at parade square, they will run at canteen, corridor area or whatever open area they can find ... for my case, i can only remind him to be careful that's allOh dear ... must be very painful....

Oh my goodness...this thing sounds serious. No wonder my DS came back on Mon (?) and said that the Principal told them that the VP will be \"catching\" anyone running in school. At first I thought it was just a routine reminder. I know that my DS plays 'catching' during recess time and he tells me usually its at the school field. But I wonder kids being kids, its kinda of hard to stop them from being active.

Just received an email from the form teacher saying that the boy is fine now, and has returned to class today.

We just have to keep reinforcing on our kids the danger of running too fast, and becoming too difficult to stop when they need to.
