        Hi everyone,

After the short chat with my gal teacher on sat, it seems the stress level of both me and my wife has reached 90%. My gal can’t account for what she purchase during her canteen period yet she’s manage to spend all the pocket money with nothing to bring back home. My wife leave emergency cash for her yet she lost it yesterday and are unable to recall where, when or how she spend it and she unwilling to talk about whether if she was extort by others. I understand that there’s no one system to teach all but would hope to get some tips on handling her. Any parents are facing the same problem?

Is your gal P1 this year?
Then she should have a buddy to bring her for recess.
Try to understand abt her buddy.
Well, if you want, you can approach the principal, Ms. Saw for advice.

You can find out from the Form Tr : who is her buddy ?

Did buddy take $ from her ?

Does she take school bus ?
Did any kids inside the school bus (higher level than her) bully her, eg : ask her to buy a drink for them or buy packet of peanuts, but never pay her back $ ?

This happened in my dd school, before.
Last year, my girl was P1.
got one older P2 girl, sitting inside the same school bus.
When they reached school 12.30 pm, the P2 girl asked my dd to buy cold soya bean drink for her, but never paid my dd back $. This occurred often. Until my dd so scared. The moment she reached school : she run to find her P1 classmate (best friend) and hide quickly, before P2 bully run after her, catch her, ask her buy soya bean packet drink, again.
Sometimes, the older girls bully P1 : ask them buy food

                Icic. Appreciate the prompt response.

I've wrote an email earlier to the Form teacher seeking for assistance and while on my end i will have to try and get my gal to talk to me on what's happening. In the case if it's really due to bullying than i might have to talk to the parents of the other party and if it's due to extortion than i will seek assistance from the Police.

                Really appreciate the help.

My gal is now P2. When she was in P1 and new to CHIJOLN her form teacher has repeatedly reminded the gals that no one should borrow or lend money to each other. If anyone forgets her pocket money she should approach teacher or admin office. The teacher also reminded the class not to waste money buying unnecessary things from bookshop. I believe this should be a consistent practice in CHIJOLN.

I can't remember how long would the buddy follow P1 gals.
If this problem of your DD persists, you should really talk to her teachers and/or the principal.

hi everyone, when do they start their cca? pri 3?

if we cater for school bus, do we need to fetch the kids ourselves on days that they have cca?

                        hi!

i am new to both the forum and Primary school admissions. This is my first child and i am preety confused.
                        1) We stay within 1km of OLN, and looking at the past admission results , would any forummers share if the chances of balloting for this school is high hence needing volunteering stints?

                        2) Are there any after school arrangements available ? ( Student care )

                        3) Noticed a big popularity variance between OLN and Holy innocent . Why so ?

                        Thanks in advance!!
