Either very few 2003 parents or 2003 parents all very chill. Or could be too busy mugging together with their kids to come here.
for parents with kids taking psle this year...I think avoiding this thread is a wise thing to do. it's stressful as it is...coming to this thread will be worse. I may probably avoid 2016 psle discussion as well as sec 4 o levels next year. -

I share the same view as Janet88. From my personal experience, I'm glad that I came to know of Kiasuparent just a few months before PSLE because of DSA and not PSLE. I enjoy the DSA thread. However, for the PSLE thread, I feel that it is more stressful if you know more things. You tend to worry more even to the extent of types of eraser to use and correction tapes to use. This is just my view.Funz:

it's helpful to get advice from experienced parents on dos and don'ts...but best to avoid such threads when the child is taking a major exam that year. clock is ticking but our kids may not be cooperating :frustrated:
i'm trying to get my kids to reduce usage of correction tape...they will still bring it into exam hall as a form of 'security' though. -
Actually psle not as stressful as I expected. My dd too relaxed as usual.
My dh received news of possible retrenchment around psle period so comparatively I was more kancheong about our livelihood. Didn’t bother to nag her. -
Daughter taking PSLE this year, last year I was reading through the PSLE 14 thread, just by reading I was stressed up, what more if I come to PSLE 2015, I will   So better avoid hehehehe

first time facing psle was tough as we didn’t know what to expect.
every child is different. my younger one is academically weak…so if my expectations are lower, the stress is lower too…but at least we can still take advantage of p5 to work hard. -
The school gave him lots of homework, surprise tests. Even weekends are filled up with homework. Staying back most of the afternoon to finished the textbook.
I was encouraging him that just a few months and it will be all over. It is like preparing for war. Getting all the bullets ready.
Luckily he is still positive and eager to learn. Just tired. -

Me too, was already so stress up when reading last yr DSA & PSLE thread, couldn't take it and got to leave the thread. This year I think won't read so much, afraid will :siao: hehe... -
Puzz...zzle:
sometimes knowing too much may be harmful...as long as the child has put in his/her best, I feel that's enough.mum03:
