Hi does anyone know if the school’s strings ensemble get to participate in competitoms other than SYF?

Hi… can anyone advise on CCA.
Understand uniform group is compulsory as part of the CCA trials .
Assume an offer is given to student on uniform group which she has no interest in it, can she appeal for others? Thanks. -
For the guitar CCA, I have some questions:
1. How many times per week?
2. Which days in a week?
3. Do they need to bring guitar for every session? Or they can put it in school?
Thank you!
:thankyou: -

I don't think so. You can only appeal after the CCA allocation results are out and if you don't get any of your 6 choices.Hi.. can anyone advise on CCA.

Hello,
Can I know if there are mid year exams in RGS?
Many thanks!
You can download the schedule from INet.
Actually, not exactly mid year exams.
RGS has TA (traditional assessments) throughout the year and one EYA (end year assessment). There are 5 TA days this year. -

There should be a list on iNet, and most teachers also inform the students of the various tests/assessments for the year at the beginning of the year. -

But not every subjects are tested at end of term 2, unlike the EYA. Many schools have tests for every subjects every 2-3 weeks plus exams. I like RGS TA structure. A few tests on the same day and there is no lessons that day.

Need advice on the ranking of CCA choices. How does putting a Waitlist CCA ahead of a confirmed offer affect the confirmed offer received. Will we lose the offer if we place it as second choice.

Don't worry, you won't! Since you have already gotten the confirmed offer, you will definitely not lose it. Putting a waitlist CCA ahead is just to try and get the waitlist CCA. But if you don't get in, you will get into the confirmed offer CCA.
