      Hi happyheart

Same for ds. No time to do any assessment book at all. He has 2 maths practice papers to do this weekend, started on 1 paper but not completed. He gets hw from school but not everyday. I would say his school hw is manageable. Problem is he likes to take his own sweet time. So ended up, no time to do assessment books.

For my ds, I notice there is a huge gap between p5 & p4 comprehension & CL compo. He has many mistakes in EL comprehension compared to p4. Hcl compo is also tough. 1st time he wrote situational compo & he got 22/40. I am CL illiterate, so can't help at all.

I still try to squeeze in time on certain days (without supplementary) for English, math and science. Daughter still needs lots of practice for English comprehension, composition and comprehension cloze.

School hw is still manageable :xedfingers: because she gets work done quite fast and on certain days, will complete some in school.

I only bought 1 assessment each for each subject. Ever since the school starts, DS has no time to work on them. Lots of homework from school everyday and I have no heart to add on those. Just for this weekend to CNY, he has 3 Maths paper to complete. What about your DC?

No time at all. Don't intend to buy assessment books. I only hope that she can revise her elder sister's CL tuition notes but no time at all, not even for 1 subject

I'm contemplating CL tuition but can't seem to squeeze it into her busy schedule.

I am trying to keep one sat or sun free for us to go out together or just rest at home not doing any work.

So if sat no work, sun will have 2 hrs of revision. Well, actually not full 2 hrs cos the naughty little 1 will always come up with excuses to have a break here and there (my fault too cos sometimes I feel very sian when I do work with him 😆 )

This year p5, time seems to be tighter. Still have ndp rehearsal, jab, camp and supplementary. I find it hard to breathe looking at her schedule.

I also have one assessment book for each subject for the whole year. For english, I have 1 other p5 and some p3/4/5 assessments books but not doing them with him (no time).

Recently bought the psle assessments books for myself to go thru. Will probably do these books with him during school holidays.

after going through PSLE once, I have learnt to see the BIG picture.

As of now, still brushing up her foundation for subjects…there is a depth from p4 to p5.

Thanks all for the sharing. Good thing DS is not alone. 😄

To think that I printed out some CA1 past year paper.... looks like may have to cast them aside too.
