Michteach:
Haha...it will be so funny if we are all in the queue- right in front-waiting for the door to open and we turn around and we say KSP forum? And everyone nods their heads...can imagine the sight. :grphug:
Hahaa! Now that you've mentioned it, i CAN imagine it too!

Didn't see any banner that state the duration. Should be for this March school holiday. I only know the fair started yesterday
Yeah, this one at Bras Basah is a regular kind of thing every school holiday. Sometimes, have very good find. One of the stall sells the second hand one. -
mummy of 2:
mummy of 2 and michteach,Oh, so they are not there now?
Was thinking of making a trip there. Can you update when u see them there again? :thankyou:
i was told the 2nd hand bookshop will be back to thomson plaza at mid may for abt 2 weeks, now its on 'world tour', think if i remember correctly is sembawang or hougang. The other bookshop is always there quite permanently but they will take a 2wks break here and there. -
Hi pokemon,
Ok thanks! Are the bookshops at the forum inside the shopping centre at the ground floor? -
I saw a second hand book stall today at Thomson Plaza, but not sure if it is the same one as what pokemon was referring to.

Wow, sounds good. Are these new books or the less than pristine ones?
Last MPH sale was exceptional in that there were a lot of offerings, and the prices were very good (priciest is $8 for a single book, and if you buy 3, I think the price was lower) and UOB had credit card discount on top of those already good prices -

 don't know whether relevant to your question or not... I got mine at last year's Popular bookfair. Buy 2 and get 1 free. So it was about $16 for the 3 books, but they are paperback, not hardcover.
Ermm.. ... what i meant was how much were the faraway books
at bras basah yesterday... those that you saw...
