In his case, if there isn't 2nd person registering under the same address... it probably went undetected????

if you are considering that, that is your personal decision, and once a crime is committed, it cannot be undone

like i said, children have innocence, one way or another, it gets leaked out that the kid's residence is a fake one...eg during class discussion, getting to know you .... (my daddy say cannot say we don't stay there.......all antenna will be up...and some kids will go home and tell their parents about it ...and some parents really will lodge a complaint to MOE)

Actually, I've read the case years ago and remembers it. Don't worry I am not going to do it as my kids are already in primary school via legitimate routes.

The reason why i am saying all those is because I do see and hear people around me getting/ trying to get into desired school via the reasons I mentioned. Some actually did it and nothing happened to them.

Imagine if another parent were to tell me that oh I got my son into XXX because we rented a place within 1km. IWe've now moved out and so he has to travel for a longer distance to school. If I am a parents at wits end, I might say that is a good idea and I will try to explore that too.

To me, this is a question on integrity and ethics.

But has another \"sacrificial lamb\" appear that people are like.... no way I will contemplate such thought. I will not even think of it.

I was like oh how did you get him in the school? Was your hubby a old boy? She said they rented a place nearby and manage to use that. I am sure they don't stay there otherwise why the travelling time issue.

He is only in P2 this year.

if i were the parent who got balloted out because someone else got in using an rental address but not staying there....as u said, the travelling time is proof that the rental is a sham....then i would naturally be very p1ssed...and if i cannot get over the unsuccessful balloting, i will complain to the school and MOE.....that is how all trouble started...

I guess many parents are busy cracking head on the address as I can see many flyers and phone calls coming in asking me to sell my place .....lolz....it happens every year around this time ...

We went to see an apartment near my mum's place within 1km of TNS. Being KPO as we wanted to see the going PSF rate at that area since we bought the place in 2006-2007 period. I was asking the agent on the rental yield and he was telling me that people usually buy it because it is within 1km of TNS. :lol: Well... good for the home owners rite and that was one of the key consideration I had when we bought the place.
