The jump from secondary school to JC is a big adjustment. Many students who did well for their O-Levels may suddenly find themselves struggling because:

One thing we’ve noticed is that students tend to face different English challenges as they progress through school:
• Primary – Building vocabulary, grammar and writing strong compositions.
• Secondary – Tackling comprehension, writing effective essays and understanding what exam questions are really asking.

Of course, every child is different. Some have great ideas but struggle to express them, while others are confident writers but find comprehension challenging.
