Parents, what's your child's biggest challenge in English now? (Primary, Secondary & JC)

We’ve been having an interesting discussion among our teachers recently, and we’d love to hear your thoughts too.One thing we’ve noticed is that students tend to face different English challenges as they progress through school:
• Primary – Building vocabulary, grammar and writing strong compositions.
• Secondary – Tackling comprehension, writing effective essays and understanding what exam questions are really asking.
• JC (GP) – Developing critical thinking, constructing balanced arguments and expressing ideas clearly under exam conditions.Of course, every child is different. Some have great ideas but struggle to express them, while others are confident writers but find comprehension challenging.
Parents, what has been your child’s biggest hurdle in English? Has it changed as they moved from Primary to Secondary or JC? We’d love to hear your experiences and discuss them together.
