think they have scrapped the PV system for public. Volunteer jobs are given to clan members only.

Distance will come in place when you ballot for the school.. your caretaker within 1km will put you up with those within 1-2km using statutory declaration.. even though she is within 1 km..
but Rosyth does not take into account distance when choosing PV.. not sure about this year..

Can any parents advise, me and my husband are Singaporean but both of us primary school were demolished.

My son born in 2010 - so he will attend primary 1 in 2017.
What should I do? I stay somewhere in Commonwealth.
I planned to let my son get into Zhangde Primary / Alexandra Primary because my sister in law will help to take care of him after school - but both primary don’t have PV scheme. Then i called up Fairfield Methodist, basically no chance for me even if I do PV… now i very lost… Need help… what should I do?

You may try calling moe to ask. My friend's school was also demolished but apparently demolished schools are also 'tagged' to another existing school in moe records. This was what she found out after calling moe.

Who told you Zhangde does not take in PV? Someone just posted a comment on her experience as a PV in the school. Go read up in the school's http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1491015#p1491015.
