I have nothing but compliments for Swensens @ Bt Panjang Plaza.

I visited this outlet twice last year. We ordered ice cream on the first visit. No complaints. But second visit was terrible. There were only a few customers (late 2pm) and we ordered main course and ice cream for 2 A and 2 C. Missed out one main course and our request for ice cream spoon answered only after we approached the mgr. The few waiter and waitresses had their eyes somewhere else. We are not going back there.

It is understandable if the place is crowded.

But since the place is not crowded, this type of service is unacceptable !!

At least that's a consolation.... that the food didn't disappoint.

Oh dear. That sure doesn't sound too pleasant.
From your experience, it seems that the heart
not there kinda attitude.. i too would not like
that kind of treatment had i been in your shoes.

I have yet to get lukewarm treatment when i'm
there & the staff have been more than efficient.
Or mebbe i am a fussy customer. So they wud
fuss around to get it right each time i drop by... :evil:
Either that i am bo chap and not that difficult to
please.. heheh.. i dunno.. i could be both!

I close one eye to new staff who are just learning
the ropes.. or when sometimes they may need to
clarify the discounts or promotion changes from
time to time.. with so many it can be tough for
the newbies to keep up.

went for the 1 for 1 recently at the Suntec branch. Wanted to change my fries to a second serving of seasonal veg and the serve staff gave us a flat no, with the \"reason\" that the kitchen's too busy (yeah, it's school hols)...so I was compliant lah (usually will insist but since she said it so good naturedly plus oredi quite :oops: that it's one for one leh!)


The wedgies did turn out not bad so I busted my no-carb lunch loh! :roll:

She gets to eat 1 free sundae per month.
