While shopping, there are 2 brands -Icon and Urban- that are micro-fibre. They are actually quite smooth, with high thread count. Relatively cheaper. Just wonder if such material gets warm after a while.

Anyone bought bedsheets from these 2 brands?

I do not recall the brand that I purchased - however, I purchased 3 sets so far, 2 different brand. My personal conclusion is 1) it does feel silky smooth and is very comfy to the touch, however, 2) because of it's micro-fibre-ness   it is not very breathable, cool in aircond room, but tends to feel a bit warmer otherwise.

And so, 3 sets of microfiber sheets later... I have refrained from buying them.

with microfiber bed sheets, they will not crease...but it is very warm even with the air con. not a good idea to buy such a material to sleep on.

my first set of microfiber bed sheet was an angry birds design...it's nice to look but totally uncomfortable to sleep on.

i haven’t tried one but i think micro fibre material is best used as kitchen towel or bathing towel.

TOTALLY agree. never ever buy bed sheets made of micro fibre.
I think it is only suitable for those who live in north pole.

Just a bit off topic here…

CNY I use newly bought Tencel sheets, very impressed. I was a little skeptical at first when I took them for a quick wash. It felt so slippery like satin and thick…

It really does feel cool and soft to use. I’m very pleased. The prints can be a little loud and gaudy, I looked through several to choose the less gaudy one. I don’t know why Tencel bedsheets are mostly such prints.

I hope there isn’t any pilling after several washes. Time will tell.
