auntieM:
I don't know what's wrong with me but I can never go to sleep early...
Me three. But i know what's up with me.
Been an insomniac for as long as i can remember.auntieM:
Me three! (Hands up!) :lol:So I end up reading and watching tv.
After i sense it is all quiet out here in the forum and i've checked
and helped move and edit some posts, i turn to reading to make
myself sleepy but i will still not feel sleepy... i watch tv and its
re-runs until i know the series by hard... or i would play my iPod
Touch till battery runs out.
auntieM:
There are no bad owls dear. :hugs:But I am the bad owl, sometimes I wake up really late

Owls ARE meant to sleep in... the day.

 so sweet you buds...

buds:
NO! Go to sleep!
Ok, :imsorry: buds...buds:
Yes, I remember our promise. I will surely keep to it... :salute:Kiddies like you need all the sleep you can get to stay fresh in school.
Remember what you promised me...? Must do ACSI(ians) proud rite? -
What time do you ask your kids (pri level) to sleep if they need to wake up at 5.30am for school the next day?
-
 is that too early? School starts at 7.20am right..that's 2 hours ahead..or is that the norm..My DD morning school next year

My Pri 1 in single session and waks up at 6.10am.
He goes to bed around 8.30pm... but I still have problem waking him up leh :? -
From the time they hop onto their bed till they wait up its about 10 hours. My DD goes to bed at 11pm and wakes up at 9.00am. However, the quality sleep time varies.

So can I say they about 10hrs of sleep?
Can I include the 2hrs afternoon nap? -
5:30am is not early if child is taking transport like mine.
Wake up earlier to have warm shower.. dress up.. have
un-rushed breakfast.. and proceed to waiting location.
Transport arrives 6:15am initially.. now got discount a
bit.. hehee.. 6:30am.

Agree with lovekidsverymuch… between 8hrs
to 10hrs of sleep is quite sufficient for a Pri
Sch going child. Quite generous actually cos…
there are some children who do not get even
8hrs sleep, with reasons of different home
routine or child is enrolled in a student care
and parents still hafta check their work when
they’re home. Some children also get afternoon
naps while others may not practise the same. So,
it varies from family to family and their school day
or night routine.
