May I ask anyone here whose child is currently or previously was in Pei Hwa’s in house student care?

      1) Can you let me know how is the quality of the teachers from this student care?
      2) Their care and concern for the children?
      3) The environment, I assume they are using the class rooms?
      4) How many teachers are being assign for each level? Is it there are 1 English and 1 chinese teacher for each level?
      5) anyone’s child attending the student care take sch bus at 620? Is it very tiring for the kid after a whole day in school and reach home almost 7pm?

Does anyone know what is TTLT program? Are they for the top % kids? Only for p4? Thanks.

Below is an extract from PH website:

        Math TTLT
P4 and P5 students who show keen interests and higher ability in Mathematics are selected for TTLT (Thinkers Today Leaders Tomorrow) program to further develop their interests and ability for Mathematics.

        English TTLT
The Thinkers Today, Leaders Tomorrow (TTLT) programme is designed to challenge high ability (HA) learners. This special programme engages pupils and ensures that their interests are catered to and that their abilities are stretched. Our mission is not just to teach them how to fish but to make them yearn for the sea.

There is a change this yr. Only English is TTLT. Sci and Math are E2K. Math program is new as MOE only rolled it out in 5 GEP schools last yr while Sci was rolled out in 2013. Selection is not based on academics solely. Thus, there are some top kids not selected, while kids in MA classes get a chance to join.

Is there a better way to teach P2 fraction?

my gal can't comprehend the greatest/smallest fraction and frustrated both of us each time I go through with her
            Experienced mommies can share?
Ask your child if she would like to share her favourite cake with more or less friends. So, the less friends she shares the cake with, the bigger the piece of cake she can eat. I hope this helps.

Thanks willow for the information. The reason I posted yesterday is that my DS does not stay with me. He and his siblings stay with my exspouse. My DS call his teacher many times but no one answer untill yesterday night DS teacher SMS my exspouse the time to report.
