On another note, what types of gradings are there? I know about the conventional grade 1 - grade 8, but what’s this about "intermediate foundation"? Do teachers usually teach the two syllabi simultaneously? Also, what’s the difference between the two?

      TIA

•The Graded syllabus (Pre-Primary in Dance, Primary in Dance and Grade 1 – 😎 provides a broad practical dance education and develops technical, musical and performance skills.
•Vocational Graded Examinations (Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1, Advanced 2) provide an in-depth study of ballet and prepare students for a career in dance.

Graded and Vocational Graded Examinations can be taken at the same time, or one at a time depending on individual ballet school and teachers, as well as the \"quality\" of the students 🙂

Can buy from Sinma or Chameleon outlets - however not every of their outlets carrying the same stocks so check with the outlet nearest to your home and see if they have it 🙂

There is a centre in City Square that does grading for ballet as well. The dance teachers have received very good reviews from parents. Stepping Out Studios

They also offer free trial classes.

Can also try The school of dance at Mountbatten and the community centres like Joo chiat cc, marine parade cc, kembagan cc, siglap south cc etc.
