On another note, what types of gradings are there? I know about the conventional grade 1 - grade 8, but what’s this about "intermediate foundation"? Do teachers usually teach the two syllabi simultaneously? Also, what’s the difference between the two?

•Vocational Graded Examinations (Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1, Advanced 2) provide an in-depth study of ballet and prepare students for a career in dance.
Graded and Vocational Graded Examinations can be taken at the same time, or one at a time depending on individual ballet school and teachers, as well as the \"quality\" of the students

There is a centre in City Square that does grading for ballet as well. The dance teachers have received very good reviews from parents. Stepping Out Studios
