Can a student take Eng Lit in Year-5, when he doesn't take it in Year 3 & 4 ? Is Eng Lit a H1 or H2 subject ?

        Thank you..

        This is NN's DS

The humanities subjects (lit, geog, history, etc) are open to all, regardless of whether they were taken in Y3-4

lit can be taken at H1 or H2 level but the school might not offer H1 if there's insufficient demand

        :thankyou: NN's DS..

Do Year 5s and 6s carry on with their CCAs?

My boy says can join new CCAs in Year-5 & 6.. But many prefer to continue their CCAs from Sec to JC..

          Thanks for replying!

Hi Parents of RI IP students

Do you know if the GEP scholarship for GEP students is for 4 years or 6 years? I realize that the full year’s fee of $4020 was deducted from my account today. Is it possible that they withdraw the scholarship ? My son did okay I guess for year 4 with a gpa of 3.6. He is currently in year 5.

I am not sure if it is the right to call it gep scholarship, it is similar to eesis given to the top 3 % of each p6 cohort who choose to attend independent school. Every month, the government will pay $200 to offset the school fee, which amount to $2400 per year.

you should check out with the finance dept (Ms peggy Lee 64199795 or Mr Cho 64199228). I do not remember any full year deduction in Yr 5 before.

                      Thank you for the contact.

I have spoken with Ms Peggy Lee. My son was under the regional studies program scholarship for the first four years, he did not take history in year 5 and was taken out of the program. The school missed putting him back under the gep scholarship thus the full deduction of fee. They will rectify the situation and give me a refund.

Thank you once again for your kind response.
