      Nice work jesschan! :celebrate:

You improvised on the Phonics songs and
made it your own with a Powerpoint presentation
and also used real pictures as much as possible instead
of those cartoonish ones wherever you can. Kudos to u, girl!

      :udawoman:

PS : Century Gothic font complements the Montessori Sandpaper
Letter Cards very well, instead of the Times New Roman if one is
trying to reinforce hands-on lesson.. (except for maybe the letter
'q' if i recall correctly)... just to share. 😉

Once again, jesschan.. nice work and effort! :ugogirl:

Some centres and parents also order online here @ http://bambini-montessori.com/price_list.htm

r2learntoys usually sell out theirs even though new stocks r
          just brought in.. 😉

Bambini's quality is good too. 😄

Hi Jazz, sorry for exposing you to such vulnerability. I think now I can accept PM already. In any case, did you receive my file?

                Thank you jesschan for sharing.

No need to thank me lah. I did it for my boy a few years back and was about to discard the file when I bought a new computer recently. Then I saw your posts on this thingy, thought I might as well pass it on. But I forgot to save it back on the old office version after opening up the file in Office 7.

And yes, for the letter \"q\", I had to add in the tail myself so that my kid is not confused.

I like to create teaching materials on computer eg phonics chart, Chinese characters etc... because it saves space and is \"greener\".

YES! But of course they are as grrreat!
They're made with a lot of love.

My sharing here has a lot to do with supporting
our stay home parents with limited financial or
physical resources, but can afford the time to
work on things during their free time. I realised
during my SAHM years that some of us can get
very little support on home education and i hope
to assist my fellow SAHMs with what i know and
when i have time to share.

Sharing here also seemed to help provide guidance
to working mothers who cannot find time to surf for
ideas or stuff but they WANT to provide quality teaching
for their children whenever they can. I have absolute :salute:
respect for involved parents... regardless, the daddy or mommy..
hence, the sharings are also dedicated to you guys. :celebrate:

Being able to make varying materials also helps
to diversify the stuff that our children see and use
at home for learning thru' play. More to come... 😉
