Would like to seek advice from St Nicks parents.

How are Sec 1 classes typically being allocated? Will there be a mixture of affiliated and non-affiliated girls in the same class? Or is it purely by PSLE scores?

        :thankyou:

Hi! Would like to clarify the following:-

          1) Does SNG girls default take HCL, regardless they are on "O" Level Track or IP Track?

          2) Is the IP Track a replacement of the SAP stream SNG used to have?

          3) Can SNG girls on IP Track choose whether they want to do 普华 ("O" Level Express Stream Chinese) or HCL?

Hi parents, I'm an education reporter for The Straits Times. The completion date of the new JC will be pushed back from mid-2018 to end-2019. The holding site for the JC has also changed, from Bishan Street 14 to Mount Sinai (near Holland Road).

These changes mean that current Year 2 and Year 3 students will not get to study at the new JC campus at all, and may have to make new travelling plans with the change made to the holding site.

Any affected parents here? Do contact me at [email protected] or PM me. Cheers.

Hi parents, sorry to bother. My name is Amelia and I'm an education reporter for The Straits Times. I'm doing a story on the new junior college that the IP students from SCGS, SNGS and Catholic High are joining. The MOE has asked a traffic consultant to study the traffic patterns around the three current school sites and do a forecast of the new campus' traffic flow. I'm hoping to speak to parents whose children who are entering the new junior college in 2019 (Secondary 1 this year), just to ask how the traffic is like at the current schools. It'd be great if you could contact me at 91903116 or [email protected] today, thank you.

                  Hi parents of IP students

There is a letter from MOE regarding the new JC uploaded on the sch website. From my understanding, the holding site at Mt Sinai looks like a reality despite the protest from parents. Also there is no mention of any engagement session with parents to further discuss this matter.

Looks like we parents and students have no choice but to accept 😞

Very high handed indeed though parents at the sessions have requested a discussion. Can't be only the minority disagreeing. I was at the session and the questions (emotional ones) were continuous and relentless. Any suggestion how we can take this forward?

What are the procedures for sec 2 IP transfer to the O level programme year 3? Are there any criterias?(Child is still coping well in IP, but generally prefers a more structured programme)
