Gan Seng Seng Primary performed well in the PSLE 2009 with a top score of 275. Wonder in the coming P1 Registration the demand would exceeds supply?

I have an ex-colleague who is now teaching in GES, chose to send her child to another school. :? Another parent that I met whose child in the same enrichment class as my dd rather try for ZDPS last August under phase 2C even he qualified for phase 1 as he has a sister in P3. And they are staying just opp GES.
Guess what? They failed the balloting at ZD and went back to GES in phase 2C supp. Luckily for him no need to ballot again cos staying within 1km. heng ah...

Hi, any idea why he didn't register his child to BRPS? Thanks.Hi Titank!
You sure you want to send your kids to BRPS? :? My daughter's childcare teacher has a cousin staying at Telok Blangah Heights. However, he registered his child in RMPS instead of BRPS. As he is beyond 1 km from RMPS, he didn't even get the chance to ballot, and is very upset about it.
A 5R flat in telok Blangah Height costs about $550k, on the average. -
Hi, can share why BRPS does not have a reputation of being a good school? Just curious
Many thanks! -

No idea. Whenever I mentioned BRPS, everyone would say :dowan: .
BTW, you are new here, right? :welcome: . Would you like to report at the Newbie thread? It's a SOP in KSP.com.

Hi lu_meihua!
Have moved your question to the http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=269&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=1260 as it relates to PV in general. -
Hi all
This is my 1st post, I am very new here although I had started finding out things from KiasuParents a year ago.
I took advised from KiasuParents and did PV at Radin Mas in 2009, however, nearing the dates of registration, I am having alot of trouble deciding whether between this 2 choice:
- select RiverValley Primary Sch >2Km from my home
- select Radin Mas Primary Sch which I did my PV
OMG, which is a better, safest choice? I also read that Radin Mas is cutting down on 2011 intakeβ¦
Understand from some parents that we had 2 balloting chances for 2010 primary one registration(2004 babies). Does that means 2 chances for the same school I choose for my girl or I can choose over 2 school and wait for results? Any advice fm the experts? Thank you sooooo much for your time:-)

Hi Samantha!
First of all, :welcome: to KSP.com. Would you like to introduce yourself at the Newbie thread? It's a SOP in KSP.com.

Calling titank! Our fellow forummer, titank, was in the same dilemma as you one year ago. He eventually chose Radin Mas due to the convenience. I leave it to titank to explain more.I took advised from KiasuParents and did PV at Radin Mas in 2009, however, nearing the dates of registration, I am having alot of trouble deciding whether between this 2 choice:

- select Radin Mas Primary Sch which I did my PV
As for which school to choose, it really depends on your criteria.samanthajui:
I don't think RMPS will cut down its intake this year. Very likely that the intake will be the same as last year, based on what the principal said early this year. However, please don't hold me responsible if it turns out otherwise. Just a guess on my part.OMG, which is a better, safest choice? I also read that Radin Mas is cutting down on 2011 intake...

The 2 balloting slips will only happen after registration for that particular phase ends. Hence, since you can only register with one school at any phase, it means that the 2 chances are for one school.Understand from some parents that we had 2 balloting chances for 2010 primary one registration(2004 babies). I will also be registering my girl in RMPS this year.
