 don't know whether relevant to your question or not... I got mine at last year's Popular bookfair. Buy 2 and get 1 free. So it was about $16 for the 3 books, but they are paperback, not hardcover.

Very relevant, thank you sweetie.. šŸ˜‰

      You r most welcome! šŸ˜„

Wow, sounds good. Are these new books or the less than pristine ones?

Mostly new books at such sales. But some could be in a bad way - the Little Men/Miss box set I got - box holding the set was in a bad way (cover almost ripped off) but the books were in pristine condition. The other stuff I got - all in good condition.

In fact these warehouse sales do carry some of the hotter (but losing steam?) titles. Saw a lot of Twilight books being thrown around last year.

Oh, so they are not there now? šŸ˜ž

Was thinking of making a trip there. Can you update when u see them there again? :thankyou:

            mummy of 2 and michteach,

i was told the 2nd hand bookshop will be back to thomson plaza at mid may for abt 2 weeks, now its on 'world tour', think if i remember correctly is sembawang or hougang. The other bookshop is always there quite permanently but they will take a 2wks break here and there.

Thanks, will KIV. Just bought a new bookshelf on Sunday, and it's already 2/3 full :!:

Mine gave up on me already. Even without mph sale, I keep sneaking furtive looks into scholastic, bookpeople and amazon....offline also want, online also want. :?: :?:

                        Hi pokemon,

Ok thanks! Are the bookshops at the forum inside the shopping centre at the ground floor?
yes, the 2nd hand bookstore always occupies the space infront of guardian pharmacy whereas the other bookstore is juz further up, behind the information counter.
