        Hi parents,

Need some advice - you guys prefer ArtZone or KidsArt?
If KidsArt, den which branch should be better?
        Thks for the help πŸ™‚
        Hi BC123,

Both schools are good in what they do, just that they have different focus. If you can, make a trip down to both centres and check out which one will satisfy your child's needs better.

Bt Timah Plaza houses both ArtZone and Kids Art on the same floor. πŸ™‚

            Hi Chamonix,

I m keen to sign up my kids (5 & 3+) for art lessons. And I went to see a few art enrichment classes, been to global art, Art Zone & Kids Art (at Tiong Bahru).

I like Global Art & Kids Art as they focus on oil pastel colouring for the initital stage for my older child (5yo). They are systematic & I can see the kids at Kids Art are close with the staff. However, global art is too costly for me as I have 3 kids whom will be attending at the same time & they are currently attending other enrichment classes too.

As for Art Zone ( went to UE square branch), it's much cheaper-inital assessment is $75 for 3 lessons (for 6 lessons), subsequent, if I opt to pay for 12 lessons at 1 go, it will be $165 for 12 lessons. But they focus immediately on poster colour painting, simple drawing & wood craft. Will it too young for a 5 yo to start painitng?

I m still considering between Art Zone & Kids Art. Anyone can share their experience? And whether a 5yo ti start painting, wont it be too early?

              Hi i3mum,

A 5 year old should having no problem in handling painting. Anyway, the teacher's job is to guide the kid, right? My kid did some simple poster painting (learning different shades of colours) at Kids Art and preschools too. Of course, cannot expect nice beautifully painted pictures. But it's good exposure minus the mess for us (at home). πŸ˜‰

                Hi Chamonix,

Yes, the teacher will guide the child., and as you mentioned we cannot expect good work, but at least there is a chance for them to learn from the right person.

                Thanks for your advice πŸ™‚

Anyone can share their experience with Kids Art? Thier registration fee had been doubled to $60 & the program is $90-$100 for every 4 lessons.

In our Art & I studio, we have 4YOs doing acrylic painting and they are doing well for a few reasons:
                        A. We try to cultivate good learning attitude in them
                        B. They enjoy their lessons
                        C. Their intrinsic personality
                        D. Their born talent that is being unleashed
                        E. Their parents' good efforts in managing their temperaments at home

Our classes are all 2 hours and these 4YOs can sit through the whole session.
