Now, I am very curious what type of fengshui the Marina one would use. šŸ˜„

RWS is more asian context given that it started from Msia. Genting highlands casino and those hotels are also full of fengshui meanings.

However for Marina, it is run by the angmohs? So I wonder if they will be equally fenghsui driven.

I feel that fengshui is quite subjective. I recalled that when the fengshui master just saw the drawings of the Marina sands, they said it resembles the ancestral tablet.

Then recently, some fengshui masters came out to say that it stands for fu lu shou. :?

way2go, P. Blakang Mati means Go back to die isit?

          u not cursing me are u? šŸ˜“

          Andaiz answered your question.
          Andaiz:

Actually it's Island (pulau) of Death (mati) from Behind (blakang). The historian who showed us around the Labrador Park told us that this is because of the history of pirates in the area. They (pirates) disposed of the bodies on the island...
It is one of a few stories as to the origin of its name,
          all related to death.

Hi Way2go, these are all giving me goosebumps, especially the post above mine! :faint: And more so because I just watched the Exorcist and The Omen yesterday and day before yesterday! :faint: :yikes:
            My boy...remember this well:
Fear arises from within one's mind.
            Learn to control that,
            and the fear itself dissipates.

Think I read somewhere on the RWS fengshui used. But I can't really remember what it stands for. I can only remember the elephant with long skinny legs as well as Hall of treasures down the escalator. Those have fengshui meanings.

I heard that on radio. Elephant for stability. Long skinny legs to pin down the gamblers so they cannot escape.

              Sounds like a money trap.
In the long run, the House ALWAYS wins.
Probability at work, pure n simple.

All i can say is that they are not very shy about winning pp's money.
The casino IS a pre-requisite for the IR's existence.
The revenue from USS itself cannot sustain RWS.
