        Wuakakakaaah! :rotflmao:

        Quick thinking DS2!
quick thinking... :? he seriously thought that he can control time! :!:
        Blobbi:
I'm laughing till tears rolling down the cheeks. Your DS2 do it in such a senang way some more!
i was laughing secretly but still need to enforce that he waited his turn...which turn out to be a 5min crying episode after the dad shut down the computer intending to forbid him to use but knowing it will be a long and noisy battle, i told the boy to wait for another 15min from the 10min as punishment and we read to pass time 😓

        tankee:

        :rotflmao:

er ... what time is your DS2 bedtime?
ds1 had fixed bedtime only when he started P1, so we don't have strict lights out enforcement for ds2.
ds2's battery will run flat at 8pm if he does not get his nap, or he can stayed up til 11pm++ if he naps in the afternoon.

glad you appreciate my DD, tankee…

here’s another one…when DS was just past 3yo…also in the car

          DS: Mama…blah-blah…
          DD: no sound
          DS: Daddy…blah-blah…
          DD: no sound
          DS: Meimei…blah-blah…(for a long time)
          DD: no sound
Me (sneaking a peek, saw that DD was asleep in the carseat)
DS: (after realising that there was no sound from her) Meimei! Meimei! Meimei!
          DD: no sound
DS: Mama! Meimei not responding to me!!! (in a whiney voice)
          Me: :!:
          DH: :!:
We parents were silent in a state of shock…

DD2 loves it when i let her watch me cook.

She is very close to me.. or clingy; i should say.. :politebleah:

DD2 likes to just sit close to me when she reads
or watches TV. At times when i am watching my
own shows, she would want to watch too.. just
to cuddle close to me and yes... also to ask her
usual firings of questions for the day.. 😉

The shows she likes to watch with me are like...
the Martha Stewart shows and also the Rachael
            Ray show.

Inspired by those shows, she requests that when
she gets to watch me cook, i should do it like MY
own show too; just like the two power ladies..
She also says that it will help her learn the basic
ropes of cooking, when i run through it like how
            they do in the shows.

Yesterday was no different. The moment she saw
me go into the kitchen to take out the thawed
            ingredients, she asked...

DD2 : So, what's cooking today chef momma?

            Me : Chicken curry.

DD2 : Mmmmm... sounds yummy. Can i watch you, :please:?

Me : Daddy will scold you when he sees you in the kitchen...

MIL and hubs does not like the kiddies to fuss around when
i am cooking... for me, i do not mind as long as they adhere to
the safety rules i roll out to them everytime... So, if they do not
behave, and the kitchen becomes unsafe, out they go. So, to the
girls... when no one else is around, it's like a privilege to get to do it.

            DD2 : But Daddy's NOT here, mummy.. :please:... I promise i won't
touch, knives, hot pans and the stove.. i will just watch and learn..
You usually cook very fast. So by the time you are done, it wud be
just in time when he gets back from his jog.

Me : Oh well. Ok then.. you will keep your promise right?

DD2 : Yes i will. If i want to try to do something just like you, i will
ask your permission first. (ie. like stirring... or adding in ingredients
            into the pot)

That deal sealed, i went ahead to prepare all the ingredients that
are needed... sliced onions... and the spices. DD2 gets a kick out
of being able to recall how it is cooked and what ingredients are
used in my cooking. As usual, she said...

DD2 : No wait, chef momma... let me try.. i can do this..

Me : Hokay then whatever you say... go right to it then..

DD2 : First, after mummy has put in the onions i will put
this spice... cinnamon stick... cardamom... er sorry, i forgot
            this one...

            Me : Cloves.

DD2 : Yes yes.. sorry about that... cos little chef forgot the
name of that spice... and next we have this easy peasy one
i have known from a long time ago...

DD2 : Add in one star anus... and...

            Me : :whut:

Me : Did you just say what i thought you said? 😐

DD2 : Wait, don't laugh. That didn't come out quite right, did it?

Me : :rotflmao:    (With tears in my eyes liao!)

Me : Yup, it sure didn't sound quite right darling... it's anise. Not anus!

DD2 : That is kinda funny.. (Laughing @ herself!)

Before she might fall off the stool, she went down to the floor and
laughed herself silly! She said, what a joke, mom! It was an accident.
I didn't realise it.. sorry k. Oh dear, now got to cut the show... :rotflmao:

It's okay DD2... if we had our own cooking show, it would be a hit! :hugs:

              Just like to share

DS1 (6 yo) has always been taken care by his grandma and has been very close to the Grandma.

Incident 1: Once when he was 5 yo,
DS1: Gramda, why you have so many white hair
              Grandma: Cos' Grandma old already
DS1: So you will die one day
Grandma: yes, one day when grandma is very old, I will die
DS1: ok, don't worry, tell mummy to buy you all the good things, so that your hair will grow black again and then you don't need to die

Incident 2: DS1 always wants the Grandma to accompany him to bed every night. The Granda will sleep beside him until he falls asleep.
Mummy: You are old already, you should go to bed yourself
DS1: I will go to bed myself when I am older
Mummu: If you love grandma so much, next time when you grow old and get married, you will bring grandma along and sleep together with you?
DS1: No, of course not, there is not enough space for grandma!!!

                DD1 : The star anus.

ds1  : why would pupils find the book interesting?! it is a compo book!!

it was printed on the back of the book to describe the contents that 'pupils will find this book interesting and helpful'. :heresmyfish:
