I have teenage kids n they have not seen snow so Korea will be a good place to go.

On the other hand, they have never been to Japan.

      So, cannot decide.

They can still see snow in Japan. Just not tokyo. Can try out nikko to see the snow monkeys or hokkaido will surely have snow. Unfortunately hakone is now closed. If it reopen by then, u can go. Or u can check if the area near kawaguchiko has snow then. Usually u will need to be up in the mountains.

I will personally avoid tohoku area with kids.

Lots of snow in central Japan in December last year! Even Nagoya was covered in thick snow when we were there!

        Zbear,

In January , kawaguchiko should have sufficient snow. N there will be fireworks over the lake . It is not difficult to go fr Tokyo too

U go and see lah. We have been quite accurate. Heehehe.

I would prefer Kawaguchiko to Hakone.

Thanks for the recommendation. Will find out more on the internet and maybe can there instead of Hakone when I visit Tokyo around 3Q this year. :rahrah:

Ok ok. I definitely need to make a biz trip to Tokyo second half of the year. Year end, I booked my tickets to Taiwan already. šŸ™‚
