What's College Day about? I also heard this Thurs is some sort of sports day. Is there any early dismissal ?

I think it relates to Birthday. The above is last year College Day speech given by our Prime Minister Mr. Lee.

No, this thursday is not sports day. In fact the JH1-4 students have to come to sch early at 7.40am to join in the college’s Go50 celebrations. Students can sign up to run/jog/walk to accumulate 50 rounds around NJ track.

            Hi parents,

Just curious but according to the JH syllabus post listed above, there is this subject/programme called ‘Man and Ideas’ and ‘Governance of Society’.Are these subject/electives part of CCE or just a school-based programme to allow students to think creatively? Thanks:)

These are not CCE related programmes.

My elder boy told me it is 50 man rounds, not one student runs 50 rounds on his own :rotflmao: which I initially thought so.

50rounds equate to abt 20km :rotflmao:

                      Hi Ninjazz34,

Both MI and GS are graded. MI in Y2 and GS in Y1.

                        Wrong info about the years.

GS is a compulsory subject for all JH levels.

MI is optional, through selection, at Jh3 and Jh4.

                        Both subjects are graded.

Refer to your child's module info booklet for details
