Comparing the safety of the area to where a Minister stays is irrelevant, the Minister is in safe hands with Gurkha guards and Security Command bodyguards. -

I was responding to someone who suggested allowing affected students direct transfer to schs of their choice bcoz of this mess. Now whether this issue was caused by unforseen circumstances or human error, the MOE cannot afford to give such restitution. It'll open up a black hole which will swallow up the whole organisation, eventually.
Imagine next time if there're delays in going single session (wait, that oredi happened rite?), qns set wrongly in exam papers, mistakes by other ministries, then what?
It's just wishful thinking. Fortunately, I don't think majority think this way.

FYI, panelist(s) can also take up a lot of minutes if they speak slowly and beat about the bush. On average for evening dialogue sessions, 5-8 qns is a good harvest.

A well-prepared presentation by MOE should eliminate 50% of the anticipated qns from the floor. To make the session fruitful, MOE officers should comb and consolidate all key points and solutions proposed in the Petition, forums, sporadic private emails from affected parties.
1. Challenges /\"unforeseen circumstances\" (SJI delay, DTL MRT @ Malcolm and NSE construction timelines, pollution & safety, etc.)
2. Mitigating measures (e.g. start assembly later, transport arrangements, photos of AMK ITE campus, artist impression of Mt Sinai campus (if avail), tentative timeline of Mt Sinai refurbishment (but tender hasn't been called))
3. Alternative solutions (e.g. feasibility & repercussions of IP-O level track switching, IPJC/JC transfers, alternative sites with photos) -
