[Tampines] Primary Schools
-
Hi all,
I am a newbie here.
My gal is born in year 2009 and is due for Primary 1 registeration. I am under P 2C.
School within 1 km - only East Spring Pri.
But I am not keen on this schools. Chong Zheng and Gong Shan are within 1-2 km. But they are very popular schools.
Can your advise me what to do if you were me?
Thanks -

Hi all,
Newbie here... My son was born in 2011 and we live in block 417 tampines st 41. So is quite near to both gongshang and tamp north. So would like to seek some advices here.
1. Is gongshang or tamp north better?
2. Do we need to do PV for gongshang or tamp north?
3. If yes, when do we need to start doing PV?
Thanks in advance
I think gongshang is better. It is best to call up the school to ask if they have Pv scheme and when you can start. -

Hi,
Can anybody advise me if there is any student care that takes in / pick up kids from St.Hilda Pri? Although i understand that they have an in house student care but i also undertand that chances may be slim to get in as well.
I would greatly appreciate if anybody can assist me
Thanks in advance

Hi
I m new here. My girl is going Pri 1 nxt year and we are looking at Poi Ching. May I know how’s the review about this sch. Hb joined the alumni and there is like no activities or anything organized. Can we still register under 2A1? Another concern is the distance. We actually stay quite far away, actually within walking distance to Maris Stella but unfortunately my firstborn is a girl. If this phrase have to ballot, I don’t stand a chance right coz I m out by at duno how many km. -

100% Agree :celebrate:Stinzy:
Can i check if i'm doing PV at Poiching, but staying within 1-2 Km, do i still need to ballot? anyone knows? cos im not really sure how to read the trend

No balloting required in P2B based on past years' statistics. -
Hi I am new here. My boy is going Pri 1 nxt year and we are looking at GongShang or ChongZheng (within 2 KM) in phase 2C. May i know if there any chances for me? I am SC.
Alternative is Poi Ching or Tampines Primary which is > 2KM. Either Poi Ching or Tampines Primary is OK for me especially i will have TOP for my house in 1Q of 2019 at Tampines Greeridge whereby Poi Ching is within 1 KM and Tampines Primary is within 2KM from my future home.
Thanks. -
Hi, having a big headache for the past few days
i am planning my son for Pasir Ris primary school( home add pasir ris) within 1km and Chongzheng Primary school(grandparents address)within 1 km.
What are my chances for PV in PRPS? i saw 2014 that balloting is required even in phase 2 B :yikes:
If i do PV in Chongzheng, will there be a higher chances compared to PRPS?
Its really sad to do the PV for a year and end up not getting a place in phase 2B.
Is it risky to do PV for PRPS even if i am within 1 km? if balloting, they also see distance right?
If i do PV in CZPS, i can have a more peaceful mind?
stress :slapshead: -
Hi I’m a former student of Junyuan Pri, but my place live near Poi Ching. I’m very confuse to choice whether JY or PC. Can anyone suggest to me which school should I choose. I’m very headache abut this. Don’t want to to the risk for PC.

Poi Ching balloting for SC less than 1 km.
If u wish to withdraw from Junyuan (P2A2) to attempt balloting at Poi Ching, must prepare a backup school, in P2C Supplementary.
Balloting in any Phase, can go either way.
This backup school in P2C Supp : better be less than 1 km from your house, in order to prevent facing anymore balloting, at P2C Supp ( the last phase to enter, before foreigners pour in)
Once withdraw from Junyuan : can’t go back anymore.
Alternately, if don’t want any risk, stay put at Junyuan.
After Phase 2C end : fill up Transfer waitlist form into Poi Ching, seek Transfer anytime during the next 4 years ahead, from P1 to end of P4.
Since Poi Ching is a SAP school, Junyuan isn’t, prepare your child to be strong in Chinese, for Transfer.
