Yes phtthp and lee_yl… u know how i felt!!! Very wasted right… haha
i did thot of going to e extend to change my address back to mil. cos its really a waste… n i gt 2 sons… if e 1st get in 2nd son will be phase 1. Cos their gap only 4yrs nia…
Some of my bills are still mailed to mil so its quiye easy to change.
Lets say if i change my adress to mil but my husband still at current add. Would it be ok? Wld thwy ask like bw come e wife n son staying with mil and husband n daug at another add?
My mil blk is undergoing enbloc petition. If its successful and fall short of 30mths what will hapen?
st gab phase 2c is still quite safe to get in though… -
From what I know, the school will look at father’s ic address first and then mother’s but will require both addresses to match. Otherwise have to state why both addresses are different.
The new rule states that you have to hold your address for 30 moths from time of registration. Not sure what are the rules in case of enbloc. -
It’s not the change of address on your NRICs that is important. It is that your child and at least one of the parents are staying at your MIL’s house for at least 30 months. Please ensure that will be the case before everything else.

Hi,
I am making decision between these two schools in Phase 2B…
Aitong Phase 2B outside 2km
Nan Chiau Phase 2B within 1km…
I understand that nan chiau stands a better chance in getting in but do not know which is better…
thanks

Do also note that it is a chargeable offense to declare an address which you don't actually live in as your residential address. -

Besides the schools, I would also look at the distance factor - how hard/easy is it to get to/from school each day. Both schools are popular in their own rights though I get the idea that ATS is more popular. NC has affiliation to NC Sec school right? I don't think ATS has. So that may be another consideration.Hi,

Then again, for ATS outside of 2km, I am not sure whether you will have the chance to ballot in 2B. -

Unfortunately, you have almost no chance to ballot in Ai Tong outside 2km. Ballot for SC >2km in P2B for ATS only happen once in the last 9 years (which happen to be last year). Given that the current Take-Up Rate for P1 is better than last year, 2014 is most likely to be an abnormally.

There really isn't a decision to make since you have only 1 realistic option. Save your worry and don't have to fret over whether ATS is better than Nan Chiau. -

Hi parents,
Just a question about changing of address on NRIC, hope you’ll can advise me. (Hope I am not hijacking anyone’s topic)
My daughter is been taken care by my mum since birth. My wife and I also stay in my mother’s house because of our work location is nearer to my mum’s place for the past 6 years.
But we (my wife, daughter and me) will go back to our registered address, which is different from my mum on Fri just to do our laundry and for my daughter’s piano class. We will come back to my mum’s place on Sun.
Can I change my address to my mum’s place so that I can enroll my daughter under phase 2C (within 1KM) rather than using the statutory declaration but it is will be between 1-2KM.
Thanks in advance!
