Hi hold a needle using a pair of pilers or tongs over the stove or fire.

Then poke the hot needle through the hole area. This is a sterilised way to enlarge the hole. Old grandma's tips πŸ˜„

I tried this once also. Very hard to enlarge the hole unless the needle is very thick type.
Yes, I'm using the large hole for milk formula.

i can’t rem where i saw this thing - a teat hole puncher - but i think it was probably tom & stef or giant. i can’t even rem the brand, sorry. but i was curious as to why there was this puncher thingy among the baby products on display so i took a closer look. the words on the packaging states that it is to make the teat hole bigger.

Thats wat i did too for my ds. I juz dipped a thick needle into hot water and poke thru the original hole and expand it bit by bit, till its ideal. Of course, u need to sterilize the teat before using. It works better than using scissors, since the teats can last longer before the hole become hopelessly big and time to throw it away.

I just got the teat hole pin enlarger thingy from my monster mil. It is not a puncher...there are 3 different pin sizes and you need to poke thru the original hole. I will try and hope it works.
