Why does she need to shift because of the new ruling?!? There is no ruling that she must live next to the school just because her gal got in leh.

Housewife Karen Chen : NO need to shift.

No need to shift : because this 2A1 balloting is already for SC outside 2 km
It is her good luck smiling upon her, blessing her, that brought her daughter into SNGS.

Kembangan to Ang Mo Kio, definitely exceed 2 km.
however, the Sch bus fare monthly, can be expensive, because Kembangan to AMK is very far.
On top of this, her dd may have to wake up very early, due to distance.

Does anyone happen to know the breakdown of how many families who have registered for P1 under Phase 2B, are SCs and live within 1 km; SCs within 1-2 km, etc? Or will such information be only released after the balloting tomorrow? Will the school office entertain calls on such questions? Thank you.

The school should be able to tell you. Traditionally, balloting for SNGS in phase 2(b) has always been within 1km (according to KSP's data, there was only 1 year that balloting didn't occur).

Yes but does it matter? Coz the balloting is only conducted for SC within 1km. The rest are out.

Thank you, absolut vodka and mashy. Thought it would be great for my dd and niece to be able to study in same school as we live very close to each other (but her mum is alumni member and I can only consider registering under phase 2B).

Hi does anyone know when the orientation for girls entering P1 in 2016 will be held? Understand it is in Nov this year.
