2016 P1 Registration Exercise for 2017 In-Take

Looking at this year's registration statistics, I think I can give up on De La Salle. I am within 1 - 2km and if next year is similar to this year,looks like I don't even have chance for balloting. Will try chij olqp then. It's more than 2 km away but based on 2014 and probably this year's statistics, we should still be safe.


Sigh. Why DLS so popular this year? Hope next year won't be like this.

If you want secondary affiliation, go for OLQP. You can try for other schools nearer to home if DLS has to ballot.

I quite like CHIJ OLQP but I prefer a co-ed school for my girls. (I have 3 girls,btw) I feel mingling with boys is better. Furthermore the school is the only place my girls can mingle with boys. At home, Papa is the only male. Haha.

Or maybe I will choose Concord,my next choice. Actually CCKPS is within 1km but i don’t really like it. (Too near to take a bus,too far to walk) South View is within 1km as well but I also don’t like. Haha.

after witness this year registration, i have some hesitation on applying for NCPS even though i am with 1 km and SC....it is unbelieveable that high..for SC and between 1 km.


sometime it is a dilemna to choose between suitable school for children and school that are good enuf...

anyone in Sengkang possible trying to CAT high or MSH? Sound ridiculous :siao: ..have two boys here, where one of them in the dragon year... i need to think and assess carefully...sign..

I have been observing the results for ACSJ over the past few years and was quite disappointed to find out that phase 2b that is not within 1km needs to ballot. Also means that we will need to move within 1km when I enrol my son next year. Sigh

Are you in Phase 2B for both schools? Are you prepared to move house?
If it's yes and yes, you can try. You will have a chance to ballot if you < 1km for CHS and <2km for MSHS.
If no, don't have to waste time thinking about it.

Why disappointed? It could have been worst... Like those schools that need balloting for <1km.
