My First Skool (former NTUC Childcare)

I wanted to register my daughter for My First Skool in Woodlands for next year, but I was told next year class is full. So, the lady put us on waiting list.

Is My First Skool very popular or am I really too late?

Well, I registered last year(2009) September and got in only next year (2011) Jan. The principal at my cc says that its only happening in the west. So maybe its moved to the north as well…

I like the principal at my outlet. I came without informing them earlier and got to watch the teachers and kids for nearly half an hour before the principal saw me. The teachers were nice and strict. They had teachers of all races there and I was reassured that my girls would be exposed to different cultures. The principal herself is a Filipino. I really liked the atmosphere of the school but I can’t comment about the curriculum coz they don’t have one for playgroup and the one for nursery was okay. Anyways, different outlets have different principals and teachers. It. May not be the same for your outlet. Best to have an impromptu visit and check it out yourself. My advice is to speak with the principal at length about everything but take it with a pinch of salt too. Obviously, noone is going to tell you their flaws as well.

there’s a new one at JW Blk 409. visited the place…quite raw still. but interior very clean and looks good. teachers pretty young, even the principal is young! the advantage here is that they have transport which im keen on. curriculum the same all across just that how the manage the ctr is another thing. still thinking if its worth the switch. wonder how good myfirstskool cc is…
