I have also registered my dd and I’m glad that there’s no balloting for 2c. At the same time I’m also curious why the response this year like not so good, there’s 86 vacancy and only 48 applications. Is there a reason behind this?

congrats in getting in.
Perhaps parents saw good chance to try for RGPS and SCGS? -
Thanks Orb, I’m just worried that the standard have drop.

Like what zahra mentioned earlier, many parents in last 2 years have decided to place children at West Spring . This creates more vacancies in other sch in bt panjang area.West Spring also increased intake from 210 in 2013 to 240 in 2015.So,there should be enough places for all children in bt panjang school. It is just which school is good fit for child.Last year, when i registered my child under phase 2c,West Spring was most popular under this phase. This year,West Spring is most popular again. I have neighbors asking me about the school now as they thinking of placing children there next time.Just my observations to share.

School's going into Phase 2C supplementary (heard when we left school just before 5pm, last Friday) so I'm pretty sure everyone in Phase 2C are accommodated comfortably.
We're happy with the school but then again, it helps tremendously to have a fabulous class with unbelievably supportive, active and friendly parents. Majorly supportive! We lucked out! -
Thanks everyone for sharing. Another question in my mind and hope u gals can help. Does anyone knows whether the school bus pass by Jurong West? I’m presently stay at JW and will only move to Chestnut Ave around July 2016. But my DD will starts P1 next year liao. So I’m a bit worry abt the transport. Should I get a car or just engage school bus service.

There were bus services or rather transport services on the notice board. I remember i saw Jurong West and few areas in the west. You can call the school's transport provider and asked about the routes.
If i remember correctly, the fees starts from $80+ - $120+.. depending where you are.
I am just happy my girl got into this school. See you folks around. -

I do not know about Jurong West. However, the school uses LongLim Pte Ltd as their bus operator. You may want to call them at 6481 4013 or 6481 4529 to inquire. This way, you'll know if they ply the Jurong West route and also the cost.
You may also wish to let them know you'd be needing the ride for a specific period of time only.
We paid for the first month's fee during orientation for the bus.
Hope this helps. -
i have also registered my girl in tis school , hope to see you mummy soon in orientation!
