many thanks... phtthp!!sorting out of new P1 classes will take sometime.
Normally, around early Nov, school will send out letters to your home, informing parents which 2016 P1 class your little daughter have been assigned to.
Tagged to each P1 class will be the house color.
Then u buy PE T-shirt, based on the house color.
Eg :
If class 1A is red house, then u buy PE T-shirt, where the sleeve is red-stripped.
If class 1B is blue house, then u buy PE T-shirt, where the sleeve have blue stripe.
Different class : assigned different color (red, green, blue, yellow)
Inside the letter, it will indicate the house color of your class.
come P1 Orientation day (Wed, 30 Dec 2015) -
Since parents already know which P1 class their daughter going to, on that morning, the girls sit according to their classes, can wear home clothes there. Then, they meet their Form Tr and Co-Form Tr (Mother tongue Tr) who will bring them to their classroom, interact with them.
The girls will line up 2 by 2, enter their new class, make new friends from different kindergarten.
Meanwhile, parents will be entertained inside school hall, by Principal briefing, plus some Performing Arts performance.

in RGPS's place confirmation email, they wrote that prior to the orientation, there will be a pupil data verification process, tentatively scheduled around second half of Oct15.
i'm kinda expecting the class notification be available during this period. do you think the probability is there ?? -

That's where u go in fill in particulars of father. Mother. Child etc. identify if you need school bus, set up the CDA acct pay school fees, GIRO and most importantly get your class number

I have registered my daughter for 2016 P1. Was wondering whether it’s possible for her to attend Chinese classes even though she doesn’t opt it as mother tongue. That’s because she has been learning Chinese at preschool and likes the language. Both excited and nervous that she’ll be starting primary school soon. Not so long ago I had the same feeling when she started going to preschool. How time flies!

some school bus coming real early, fetch kids to school
eg
those staying in the east (Pasir Ris, Tampines, Bedok, etc), school bus come around 4.45 am (sky dark, dark)

But children are eagerly excited, said they don't mind boarding school bus at 4.45 am, to celebrate National day. Tonight sleep earlier, 9 pm -
