Any idea for a monthly cost of daily 2way trip (from amk central); school bus fare..will be how much? any deposit involved? any differents between a big and min-bus( number of students per bus/ the $$$?

My friend says it was $170 in 2014, from AMK hub vicinity to OLN.
She has moved nearer the school this year, so only can help to provide the 2014 price.
Prob higher in 2016.

i live in hougang, am a alumni of chij tpy... i called the bus driver at CHIJ tpy to check daily 2 way transfer frm hourgang to tpy... its only 180. this include after sch hours pick up at 4pm too.

There is a difference in charges for big bus and mini bus. You need to check with them.

[/quote]From school to potong pasir in 2014 was $170 even though only 1 way per day. No discount or only $10 discount between 2 ways and 1 way cos they say have to cater the seat for your child even only 1 way.

Additional $10 per trip for after school CCA pick up at 4pm :frustrated: With 2 kids in the same CCA was $20, cheaper to take cab to pick them up and cab back. :slapshead:

In the end my P6 and P4 took public transport with family member pick up at destination bus stop.

PS. dont forget you have to pay Jun fees with Jan, and Dec fees with Jul.

i am thinking of enrolling my girl here.

DD1 graduated in 2014 and went on to ZHSS, DD2 is in P5.

Both girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves and blossomed in the school, especially DD1 who was very quiet and soft spoken when she first started school and was awarded Chief Commissioner badge and Eagles Award at P6.

There are camps and activities almost every year to nudge the girls out of their (and their parents'! ) comfort zones. e.g. they have a pj party for P1 where they stay in school till 9 or 10pm in their PJs to train their independence (and learn how to make a bed). :boogie:

Academic wise they are improving year by year and doing better than national averages, especially for quality passes.

I was heartbroken when I had to enroll DD3 into YangZheng cos we had moved and logistics became a challenge for DD3 to go to CHIL OLN.

The only uncertainty is Ms. Saw is nearing retirement age and the school may see a change in Principal within 1-2 years?
