Lucky my boy has recovered from his sore throat in time 😓

He also seem cool.....but I wonder if he's feeling stress inside. I've talked to him but he said no.......yesterday was still reading his story book

I'm the one starting to get butterflies in my stomach, since this morning
Worried what time to leave house tomorrow (reporting time is diff as normal school hours), what to give him for breakfast tomorrow, how will he do, will he be nervous..................(endless worries).

Only good thing about the above, I dont' have appetite to eat - can help to lose weight 😉

Best of luck to all P6s taking the orals tomorrow and day after! :xedfingers:

My eldest didn’t even feel like having much of a breakfast when she took her PSLE. Stomachache in the morning… sweaty palms… I didn’t wanna make a big fuss about it to add on to her anxiety, so I was okay even when she merely managed to drink half a Milo and some plain water to wash off the Milo taste. She also requested for mint. I believe as long as the child is comfortable with it, just go along. No need to do anything exceptionally special or different on PSLE exam days.

I'm having a totally different PSLE experience this year.

DD2 has been practising endlessly on her own. Her EL teacher is an extraordinary lady who always goes out of her way for the benefit of her students. She collated numerous resources to practise for this upcoming oral exams and set aside time for sufficient practise during school hours. She also photocopied a stack of resources for the students & us parents to go through at home with our children.

Prelim orals was over recently and marks/evaluation has been shared with us. I believe DD is roaring to go. Only thing I hafta do now is to manage her stress, anxieties and expectations as she seems to be taking it too hard on herself to do well. My supporting role will double up these next few months to ensure she won't be burnt out but instead, peak at the right moment. 🙏

Wishing all P6-ers smooth delivery for oral exams. Jiayou!

                    Hi,

I am looking for an English tutor to help my son who will be sitting for PSLE in October.

As his school already has many after-school classes, I don’t really want him to sit in tuition classes.

I just need the tutor to help mark and score Continuous writing/Situation writing practice paper he does at home. The feedback can be provided by phone or email so I don’t require him / her to come to my home. I am willing to pay reasonable good (I think) rates on a per-marked paper basis.

Let me know if you know of anyone who can help on this. A current or recent ex-MOE teacher will be preferred as the new English paper 1 format is different. Thanks!

Please PM me or let me have the contact of the tutor.
