The scholarship subsides 50%-100%, based on your income. To renew it every year, you have to be in the top 70% for both art form and acads at the end of each year

For dance dsa, would someone be so kind as to summarise the timeline to dsa application in SOTA. I roughly remember the following:
1. Mar holi - dance camp?
2. June - application deadline?
3. June - selection camp/audition/CE tests?
4. July - Interview?

Thanks, I am trying to see how this will fit into my kid’s schedule as she will be bz with her CCA comps around the same time too.

For non-dsa, it is better to apply in year 1. It is more difficult to get into the school in later years because the school is concerned with the student not able to catch up with the IB program.

Kind of worrying if SOTA students aren't keen on local Uni. That means the parents has to plan financially for an overseas tertiary for their children.

Has this changed? SOTA has 3 batches of IB result out... What courses in Local uni are sutable for Students whose parents can't afford overseas Territory education?

They can take all courses in the local Uni offered.

Suitability depends of the students preferred choice and their subject combi. I know of students in SUTD, NUS - FASS/LAW/MED, NTU - ADM, SMU - BIZ/LAW. I'm sure if you ask around the students, you'll get more statistics. In my opinion, overseas Uni is just a personal choice. Most of the SOTA students who went overseas are on scholarships eg. PSC/NAC/LCK etc.... check out their FB and you'll find them.

Scholarships are offered to excellent students who are both academically and art-form sound. Besides they need to write personal statements on why they should be granted the scholarship and rounds of interview and test.
