Anyone care to share the activities involved in the Girl Guides cca? Is it twice per wk?

I was told the waiting list is pretty long fr this cca… The cca my DD prefer is not in rgs…

Hi there, are you starting your RGS journey in 2016?

              What are your concerns?
              What are the important dates?
Are there any preparations needed for DSA students?
              :rahrah: :imcool: 😂

                Hi!
I'm not in girl guides but according to what my friend told me, it is twice a week. Every two weeks or maybe once a month (not sure about this) they tie braids. The rest of the time their hair is tied into a bun I think!
I usually just see them learning how to make knots, or lashing wooden structures together. Occasionally the year 3s would also split firewood with an axe. I THINK Year 1s learn the knots, year 2s raise the flag during national anthem, year 4s just pass on the knowledge...
Every batch in Guides is around 20 people? But yes quite a lot of people would apply.
They have patrol groups too with a Year 4 in charge but I'm not sure what they do...
                Hope this helped!
                🙂

                    Hi!
Um the dismissal time actually varies from day to day depending on the timetable, but it's around 1:50. On Wednesdays Year Ones are dismissed at around 1.
CCA formally ends at 5:30PM and is at least twice a week, but depending on your CCA it could be anytime from 4PM to 6:30PM or even 7PM.
On Fridays dismissal is at 12:55, unless she's taking third language, then it would end at 5:45.
                    Hope this helped!
(If your DD really likes sports CCA then go for it! Better to pursue her interest then do a CCA she hates...)

The sisterhood bonding is very strong in RGS.
