Then it must be a very warm place you are putting the rice box, pink_daisy?

I keep my uncooked rice in a big Lock & Lock container (i buy 5kg rice). It is airtight and keeps my rice bugs-free. I seldom cook so my rice dun get used up so quickly and bugs still dun turn up. Give it a try.
