What do you use now? Not effective? We use Kao Magiclean Floor Cleaners (Lemon), so far so good, just pour a small capful of solution into clean water and start mopping, no need to rinse, it dries fast and no sticky feel on the floor.

I use kao magiclean too...anti-bacteria. great for clean floor and squeaky feel. but for kitchen, I spray mr muscle (kitchen) on the floor and also use the stove after frying. then I just mop the area, no need to rinse. the stove is also shiny.

eh, I put CIF (or JIF) on a wet towel and apply it to the floor, then clean it up using rinsed towel. Else I use steam mop - steam lifts off easily.

Mix equal parts of vinegar and water. Spray on stains, let sit for 5 minutes and scrub with soft brush. Add 1-2 drops of dishwashing liquid for tough stains. For tough grease stains, pour cornstarch liberally on the stain and let sit until dry.

Using hot water instead of cold helps too.

I recommend using the dish washing detergent, Mama Lemon to mop the ceramic/homogenous tiles. It is effective in removing grease. Just add a few drops to the bucket of water. It works well.

High five! Me using Mama Lemon too.
                    Very effective in removing grease.
