but the inside wont get drench? Those padding inside if wet or drench, how to maintain?
Inside ah... don't have padding one lah, at least not in mine. I think the shoes, once dry, is still ok. But that doesn't mean you should go soak your shoes in a flood of water.
Maybe others in this thread can share if they have similar experience. -

Hi Busymom,
:offtopic: How are men's shoes supposed to be maintained? I thought shoe wax will crack up the shoes eventually?
My DH uses a dry cloth to wipe the surface of his shoes. And every morn, he uses kiwi wax to polish them. Or else I do
He uses Johnston and Murphy brand. Says its v v comfortable. Polishing them has never 'cracked up' his shoes and they have lasted for years.
Wow. this thread is moving fast. Want to share what 'loot' I have too but later lah...

I use Burberry (Blue Label) for daily use cause it matches all my dresses so I dont have to change with every dress.... I am lazy also to change... for formal outings I carry which ever matches my dress and occasion cause sometimes simple clutches are good

I am still finding to out the difference between blue label and burberry sold in dept stalls.
Joy,
We saw blue label at major dept store. Gosh I can't remember the name but there is some popular Japanese dept stall near Shinjuku area. Something starts with pacific....?
My impression is blue label is around S$300+ meanwhile for the burberry brand in the dept store (not boutique), it is going at S$500+.... What are the differences. -
mmm
Its the colour right...hope am right.MMM:

Should be quite alright, daisyt. Usually the shoes are strappy with not much to cover the outside (hmm, are we paying more for less?Inside ah... don't have padding one lah, at least not in mine. ), so the base of the shoe is hard, not padded. Quite easy to dry out.
Just checked my shoe closet - still got my pouffy Miu Mius intact :), and they're at least 5yo. -

Oh they are brands already shared. Tag Heuer and Rolex.ks2me:
This one true for me for watches but not for bags.
I have 3 solid good watches that can last me a lifetime. I have many good bags but never seem to get enough. *sigh* It's a sin.
Can share which brands are your 3 watches :please: ? Trying to do my homework which watch might be a good investment.
Bags... I hope I won't succumb to temptation again this June
If you are truly a timepiece collector, you really should look at Jaeger-LeCoultre:
https://auction.jaeger-lecoultre.com/timepiece_home.php
It is well known for its clean-cut look and great precision.
It is like the German's BMW
This is their Euro$275k watch that people can go gaga over.....

OK daisyt, the brand I buy is also Ferragamo. They are quite hardy as long as you don't soak it in flood water, don't think any shoes can survive that. No padding in the shoes.Busymom:
I have been caught before, but quite ok leh. Just make sure that you quickly wipe away the rain from the metal buckle on the shoes once you are out of the rain. Dont' remember any of my shoes being damaged by rain.
but the inside wont get drench? Those padding inside if wet or drench, how to maintain?
What some of my friends did was they left the shoes in the office, so they only put it on in the office but must lock it before they go home. -
Joy:
It's not the colour. The blue label is made for the Japanese market only (maybe made in Japan? :scratchhead: ) Heard that the design is different from the normal Burberry, more casual-looking. I have never seen them before, not so sure myself.mmm
