yes, that question and the rest of booklet a was fairly easy
tbh, the paper itself was not that diffcult, not sure why classmates (we are in the top class) say it was tough, even those who excel in science...
maybe i'm overlooking some parts *huddles up and rocks back and forth at the prospect*

One of the pollution by human activity: Increase in fertilizers to grow more food. These results in an increase in nutrients (nitrates and phosphates) in the water which causes enhanced plant growth (algal blooms). When this plant material dies and decays the bacteria uses the oxygen in the water. This lowering of oxygen levels results in the death of other water life that needs oxygen to survive, eg. fish, etc. This process is called eutrophication; litter, which causes disease and has a negative visual impact.

Ans to that mcq is nutrients. My boy put \"nutrients\". šŸ˜“

i tot the graph for nutrients decreased drastically till the end and increased slightly. And the graph for bacteria increased till the end and decreased slightly?

This explanation does not fit the graph as it shows that the nutrients decreases. However, if this is the explanation then the bacteria should increase because of the decomposition. Just my two cent worth.
