Does anyone knows whether there is any compo or 作文 tests for P2? DD said not included in SA2 but I am not sure since I recalled DS had Paper 1 for his P2 SA2 in another school.

Hi mapleleaf, yes there are SA2 compo exams for EL and CL. On 14 & 15 Oct. Can refer to SA2 exam notice that school gave out a while ago.

Thanks.That's what I thought earlier but DD misled me the day before that not included,only for the p3 prep.Aiyo,just checked ,and realised that both Paper 1 and 3 same day.
Haha,guess she was afraid I would refrain her from going to the birthday party next weekend.

I am a parent of p1 2016 intake, and just rec the letter from sch. It is recommended in the letter that we buy 1 set of sch uniform n 3 sets of PE attires. Just curious, how come the students wear their PE attires more frequently then their uniform? Is there a typo error? E.g should be 3 sets of uniforms, 1 set of PE attire.

Not a typo. My P2 has been wearing PE attire the week this year. Not only for the regular PE days but for MCCA days.
Last year P1. they only wore uniform once a week,

We only got her 2 sets of PE attire and 2 sets of uniforms last year.It seems like 1 set of uniform is enough.

As for shoes, it is not stated in the letter what type. Track sports shoes allowed? Or must b bata white ones?

Btw mummies, any idea for the PE attires how do we koe which "house" to purchase as it is not stated in the letter as well. Could it be that e.g. for P1 is Matthew, P2 John, P3 Luke and so on. Or is the house categorised via class instead of levels.

Oh the sch has clarified that next yr new PE attire design, so no more categorise into houses.

Hi tinywings, welcome to pei hwa! For shoes, please get white shoes. Doesn't matter where they are from as long as it's white. I got from bata - most straight forward.

Oh they are doing away with house grouping next year? I have not heard about this - wonder if it only applies to next yr P1 batch onwards. Thanks for sharing the info.
