Should be similar to last year grading, unless the changing of new English psle format impact a lot
This year, what else change, apart from new English psle format ? -
StillThinking:
Hey guys, what do you guys think the cop for nygs, rgs,ri, hc, dunman, cedar, scgs, sngs for this year will be? Make a guess
hmmm... i think will be around the same... 248-254 for most, the ri/nygs higher.
but i really 不知道 how it works, bc i never bother studying the cop, got affiliation & CO liao, however, there shouldn't be much change la, so no need to stress

Well, it depends on the teacher.gardenia64:
For Chinese composition and English composition, u will not get full marks. The best u might get 35+/40. Anyway, let's enjoy the children's day.
Not true. I have tons of classmates(not me, i can't do that) getting at least 38, some even got 40 before for chinese, english is hard indeed but even with my sucky compo standard for chinese compo, i get at least 28(unless something goes seriously wrong) and usually about 32
Sorry if i offended anyone, i understand that this might, but I'm trying to get to the tops so compared to them, i suck way too much
During prelims and SA1, teachers from other classes marked my composition. I got 29.
There is no grammar mistakes/spelling mistakes or anything.
During normal composition tests in class, I will get around 35/36. -
Let’s say,
X got
91 for English
100 for Maths
91 for Science
91 for Mother Tongue.
Y got
91 for English
91 for Maths
91 for Science.
100 for Mother Tongue.
Whose score will be higher? -

However if there is any discrepancies ( as in if the marks given by the 2 markers differ by a lot) there will be a third marker.
By the way, just curious to know how many pages did you all write for your english compo. I'mwondering if mine compo will be too short as I find it hard to write. I wrote about 3 pages ( leave a line). What about you guys? -

I did not left a line and wrote 1 page… With line would be about 3-4 pages. Anyway they go for content and language… Even if you write more than someone, it doesn’t means that you will score higher than that person.

I wrote 4 and a half pages .

Writing more means having more content and more elaboration, so the marks will go up. -
NerdyMath:
It depend on bell curve. If alot of the student able to do well in Maths and do badly in chinese than Y maybe higher. If vice versa than X will be higer.Let's say,
X got
91 for English
100 for Maths
91 for Science
91 for Mother Tongue.
Y got
