Bowen Secondary School

My son will be in the NA stream, so I have intention of choosing Bowen as it looks like one of the better Neighbourhood schools. My concerns are if they allocate good resources to support the NA classes, if opportunities are given to the NA students to excel, instead of having their main focus on the Express classes.

You may want to speak to the school leaders to find out more. It seems that Bowen is an inclusive environment and the non-express students have ample opportunities to shine. If I am not wrong, the current vice-president of Bowen Student Council is a NT student.

Good school. Cut off point almost in par with Kuo Chuan Presbyterian (228-229). First impression of the current Bowen principal, a responsible gentleman who is very caring for his students.

Does anyone has the information on the NA students performance in the O levels, how many percentage of the NA students are eligible for Polytechnic after their O levels?

Bowen is a good school. My friend's son was formerly from Bowen Sec (PSLE 228). He did quite well for O level & currently with Tampines JC. My girl is in Bowen Sec now (PSLE 230). The teachers there are caring & students are well disciplined. :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:
