Do have a chat with your DS first. Find out what the real issues are first. Your son must agree to the transfer, otherwise this move may create other issues. Take care.

The first thing is to find a school willing to take him, and ask what sort of criteria he has to satisfy - exam results, reasons for transfer etc. The rest is just paperwork and they will be able to advise you on the exact details. In general, you should get something from the new school, then request the current school to officially ‘release’ the student.

I am also thinking of transfer my child out of the current school. Results very bad due to the friends… 😞

Sec 3. Next year O Level… is it too late to transfer?

I think most schools won’t allow transfer in the sec 4 year as it’s too close to the O levels. But if you have special reasons, you can try asking.

The new school will not allow or the current school?

I would think the current school would be happy to let my child go.
