Dunman high, chung cheng main and temasek JC are all very good schools. I don’t know if my ds can make the cut. Must see his results after psle. Already apprehensive for this SA2.

Oral and compo exams are over. Now left with paper 2, right after psle marking.

My daughter's main papers have not started...only oral & compo over...but in a way I'm relieved to have extra time next week. But really worried for sa2.

Now that time is so tight, I have to zoom into exam papers as revision...use assessment to explain and reinforce the topics which she is weak in. If this year is like this, next year would probably as crazy.

Worrying is pointless. Health damaging. Must take care of ur health.

for a thematic challenging and the top science MCQ, she could score at least 50 marks out of 60, but for the school's paper, it was only 40.

I think intensity in Secondary School is slightly controllable. Opt for a less time consuming CCA wherever possible. Also decided to drop 3rd language after 1 semester so can gain an extra afternoon off. Won't be continuing with Math Olympiad training next year. I have to streamline on behalf. It's just me. I watch kids' rest time like a hawk. Must avoid overloading

School has no opinion regarding dropping of 3rd language and Maths Olympiad training? I'm wondering if will affect future scholarship applications?

Main focus is to get distinction in at least 3H2 subjects. If cannot achieve dist in at least 3H2 subject, then chances of getting scholarship is very slim. 3rd language and MO no meaningful. CCA leadership role more useful help win scholarship.

What kind of scholarship are you aiming? NUS or NTU scholarship, 3 or 4 dist in H2, can get liao. PSC needs dist in H3 subjects.

Duman High, Temasek JC, Anglican High, Chung Cheng High, Victoria etc are good schools in the east areas.

This is my no. 1 so I am rather apprehensive. With his scores, what will be his T score like? 230+ or 240+?

There are 2 schools on my mind now. Anglican high and ngee Ann secondary. Any feedback on these 2 schools?
You can also consider Victoria, Temasek JC & Chung Cheng beside Anglican High

Would like to know is there going to be another big jump from p5 to p6? or p5 results are a good indication of yr psle results? My ds marks were quite stable the past 3 terms. Tia.

P5 & P6 are PSLE preparation years. Yes P5 is more or less a good indicator as most syllabus have been covered in P5. P6 is more like a revision year. Do make use of the school holidays to revise weaker topics/subjects.
