Janet2014:
Innova JC is above 90% for A, as confirmed by my nephew. The PW teachers are very demanding and my nephew's individual work on EoM was rejected 3 times before the teacher was satisfied with an innovative product he finally came up with. For GPP, they had to consult various local Uni professors to comment on the proposed products before the final submission.PW results are out. Does anyone know the percentage obtain A for various JC?
RI is 89.1% -

Hi,
Is there still time for tuition at this time as A level exam is round the corner ?
Its barely 2 weeks before A levels start.
Wont it better to seek consultation from subject teachers now? -
For my DD in AJC year 2, I have gotten use to her results ranging from 40+ to 60+ per subj though it was a shock to me when she got such result in JC1. She received MOE award for being the top 25% in her cohort. And she was in the top 23% in her cohort this year. So it is pretty normal for getting lower marks/grades in JC. Just have to give our children continued support and encouragement. They are young adults and will study hard to acheive their goal if they know what they want.

May I know where can I find them? Thks

try calling up some of the centres mentioned in this newspaper article.
disclaimer: I do not have personal experience with any centres offering crash courses for A levels.
if you still have the Popular Bookstore Sept magazine, maybe can find some centres that has such programme. -

Yeah. Neighbour's DD from TJC obtained S to D grade and hardly a C in JC exams but gotten straight As, except for GP, for 2014 A level exam. -
Thanks for sharing. This helps me mentally prepared when dd goes JC1 next year.

May I know when will JC officially close for the holidays for J1 pupils?
Do different JCs close on different dates as they may start teaching J2 syllabus after the PW presentations?
